Company President Manuel Urbina began his career at Novacomm while he earned his bachelors degree in interdisciplinary studies at the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan. His education combined the best elements of business administration and finance. While his job as a service technician taught him the details of the engineering and service industry. Over the course of a decade, Mr. Urbina rose through the ranks of the company to become the president.
During a hiatus from Novacomm, he joined Simplex-Grinnell, a business unit of Tyco International/Tyco Fire & Security. While there he served as regional business development manager for the security systems division.
In 2007, Mr. Urbina returned to his roots with Novacomm as president. As a partner to Mr. Diaz in daily operation of the company, Mr. Urbina heads an aggressive sales and marketing effort along with a robust research and development arm.
