Urbina Appointed President of Novacomm

November 26, 2007—Kissimmee, Fla.—Novacomm Chairman and CEO Bill Diaz appointed Manuel Urbina to head the Puerto Rico-based security equipment manufacturing company. Urbina returns to Novacomm where he previously spent 12 years in Puerto Rico working in the manufacturing side of the business. He will work at company's Kissimmee, Florida facility. Urbina will run day-to-day operations of the company, with strong emphasis on developing new marketing strategies to increase our sales volume.

Most recently Urbina served as Regional Business Development Manager for Security Systems for SimplexGrinnell, a business unit of Tyco. While there he lead development of the security products business throughout Florida. He brings experience in business management, strategic & tactical business planning, marketing strategy design, operations, systems sales, systems design, and systems project management to the company.
