NovaComm, Inc. began in 1984 as the largest distributor in the Caribbean of X-ray security inspection systems and Walk-Through Metal Detectors. As the company grew, NovaComm developed solutions that were elegant and simple in concept, yet executed with a focused attention to detail.
In 1994, the company designed and patented the Access Control Unit (ACU) or Security Vestibule, an advanced security screening system for the detection of individuals carrying weapons into any facility without authorization, therefore minimizing the possibility of an armed takeover.
Research and Development is another area where NovaComm is successful. New ideas and product are constantly developed in the hopes that these products will have a serious impact in future society's safety.
